Lakeview Lodge is a 40 bed personal care home.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in commercial kitchen without supervision
- Preparation of all meals in provided 6 week rotational menu
- Ordering all food and kitchen supplies
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to follow established facility policies and procedures
- Maintain professional dress and attitude
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Must be able to provide Criminal Record Check
DUTIES:
- Demonstrate skills, efficiency and diligence in performing all assigned duties with minimal supervision
- Be a good team player and able to handle situations
- Work with LPN Supervisor ensuring Resident's dietary requirements are being met
- Maximize use of all foods to minimize waste
- Document freezer tempurature logs
- Meet with FHQ Dieticians with menu concerns
- Ensure Environmental Health Inspections are complete
- Sanitize all kitchen areas and items as per Safe Food Handling requirements on each shift
- Track and collect payment of meals from visitors and employees
- Assist with other departments as required
- Answer phone when available
- Follow Code of Ethics
