Our client is seeking a Third Class Power Engineer to join their Steam and Recovery team.
Location
As the main business center in Northern Saskatchewan, Meadow Lake is the place all local communities head to do their shopping. Also known as the Gateway to pure air and water, Meadow Bank is home to a provincial park and lots of friendly people. With many recreational activities to offer, there are lots of opportunities for adventures, both indoor and out.
Responsibilities
As Third Class Power Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures
Monitoring and inspecting plant equipment
Performing routine equipment maintenance
Troubleshooting, performing corrective action or minor repairs as required
Ensuring production quality and timelines are met
Logging all operation records
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an Interprovincial Third Class Power Engineering Certificate. Candidates with a 4th class ticket who are actively working towards 3rd class certification will also be considered. S/he will be energetic, work well in a team, and be ready to enhance their skills. The ideal applicant must be able to work a rotating shift schedule. Training in primary and secondary water treatment will be provided upon on-boarding.
