The Esterhazy Housing Authority, responsible for the management of 118 housing units located in Esterhazy, is seeking a versatile individual to provide part-time clerical and financial support.
Reporting directly to the Manager, the successful applicant will maintain helpful and courteous relations with tenants, staff members and people seeking information. The Administrative Assistant will require general knowledge of the Authority and is usually the first point of contact with the organization.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Completion of a certificate or diploma in general office administration or equivalent from a recognized college or technical institute combined with one year related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Overall knowledge of office systems and procedures.
Familiarity with the application of Microsoft Office and Excel, word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet applications and an on-line data system.
Good communication, interpersonal, customer service and analytic skills.
Ability to enter data with speed and accuracy and ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail.
Demonstrate initiative, reliability, flexibility, efficiency and good judgment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Experience in property management would be an asset.
