The Pahkisimon Nuye?Ah Library System in Air Ronge, serving over 53 schools and public libraries in Northern Saskatchewan is seeking a qualified applicant to fill the role of Office Assistant.
DUTIES: As primary receptionist, the successful candidate will handle all incoming and outgoing telephone calls and mail. The Office Assistant will provide clerical support for the office including web page updates, minute taking, filing and travel arrangements. In cooperation with the Business Manager, this person will purchase and receive collection materials and office supplies, create purchase orders for hotel rooms and travel arrangements.
QUALIFICATIONS: A diploma in Administrative Assistant or Office Education. This person will be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Publisher and Access, HTML, and will be able to format raw data into letters, newsletters and directories. A valid driver's license is required. Fluency in Cree or Dene is an asset. Accuracy in Canadian English spelling and grammar is essential.
SALARY: $28,357.00 - $30,553.00 per year commensurate with experience and qualifications.
