Retail Account Manager
Ag Exchange Group Inc. is in the business of developing and marketing proprietary technology used to facilitate online trading of agriculture commodities.
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Account Manager to join our team at Ag Exchange Group Inc. This Account Manager will develop and maintain relationships with key retailers in the Agriculture sector.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Create sales and marketing plans to maximize the entire business opportunity with each key account
Expand retail network through the identification of strategic retail partners and negotiation of retail sales agreements
Responsible for the execution of grower meetings and product demonstrations
Provide product training and technical support to both retail and farm customers
Manage sales goals and targets with licensed retails
Stay current on all sales processes, products, services, promotions, company policies and general knowledge of the business
Effectively manage territory expenses and sales budgets
Ensure the timely completion of various administrative responsibilities
Requirements:
University/College graduate or equivalent experience is required.
Previous Agriculture industry experience and knowledge of grain marketing is essential
Results driven to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination
Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to conduct presentations with large groups
Demonstrated ability to create and execute business plans
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Power Point
Ability to travel within assigned territory
**Experience working with large agriculture crop input locations is an asset
**Must have a valid drivers license
