A Saskatchewan Based General Contractor are looking to strengthen our Team with an experienced Safety Officer for projects in Regina and the surrounding areas.

This is a new position within our Organization. We envisage this to be a 50% - 50% Office / Site position. The successful candidates duties will include but not limited to:

1.    Development, Implementation  and Maintenance of the Company Safety Program.
2.    Schedule & Maintain Training and Records of Employees.
3.    Communicate with all workers relevant safety information.
4.    Qualify Sub trade compliances.
5.    Assist with job hazard assessments, procedures, tool box and safety meetings.
6.    Perform jobsite inspections and planned job observations.
7.    Must be willing to travel outside Regina to surrounding areas as required.
8.    Applicants should possess hands-on construction experience, knowledge of the safety issues of the industry, Knowledge of the OH & S Act & regs.
9.    Proficient computer skills, written and oral communication skills.
10.    Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of safety documents.
11.    Responsible for fostering good communication with fellow employees.
12.    Perform incident investigations and inspections as required.
