This is an itinerant position based out of the Division's central office in La Ronge. This position will be monitoring and providing support to room and board students in a variety of locations. This will include locating landlords, arranging for student travel and establishing supportive relationships with students, parents, landlords and schools.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, fluency in Cree and/or Dene would be an asset. Possess a minimum of a Youth Care Worker Certificate or its equivalent, and have experience in the human services field as well as office organizational skills. The selected individual must hold a valid driver's licence and provide their own vehicle for which mileage will be paid. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
This is a full time, temporary position to start October 6, 2014 (possibility of starting earlier) until January 14, 2015 with the possibility of extension.
