The Family & Youth Program Manager is a position which manages the direct delivery of Child & Family services, to ensure effective case management and program practices according to the Province of Saskatchewan's Child and Family Services Act along with the La Ronge ICFS Agency Policy & Procedures manual.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates, and directs comprehensive Family & Youth programs under the direction of the Agency Director and Assistant Director
- Responsible for program development, management, and evaluation of Family & Youth Services
- Responsible for the management of the following departments: Child Protection, Family Services, Foster Care, and Casual/Emergency Workers.
- Responsible for the allocation and management of Foster Care resources
- Prepare statistical data and written reports for the Agency Director and Assistant Director as required
- Assist Agency Director and Assistant Director in defining, developing and coordinating training needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indian Social Work
- 5 Years senior management experience in Human Service
- Effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Integrated Family & Youth Services delivery system
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of First Nations Government Program Staff, Agencies, stakeholders, and community members
- Criminal Record Check Clearance, Valid Drivers License
