We Fixed It, Now Somebody Needs To Know
Not everything that comes out of a factory is built the way it should be, we need to correct those issues for our customers. Our warranty administrator makes sure we get paid for those repairs. The key responsibility to this position is to complete warranty claims, mostly on the manufacturers website, so that we will be reimbursed for work that we have completed. There will be some negotiation with the manufacturer via email and phone to receive the reimbursement required. On some claims the faulty parts have to packaged and returned to the manufacturer. You will be required to follow company and manufacturers procedures, including keeping accurate and complete records of claims and related information.
The person we are looking for has the ability to work well independently while interacting well with people in both our Service and Parts Departments. Have the ability to communicate clearly and in a concise manner, both written and verbally, in English. They are familiar with using a computer, websites, document filing, editing (basic not advanced) and transmitting digital photography. Have the ability to explain in writing what work was done to the RV in a clear and concise manner. Have a reasonable understanding of terms and descriptions used in a repair situation. Have the ability and willingness to negotiate the maximum amount payable while maintaining a good relationship with our suppliers.
While experience is an asset, we are looking for skills and abilities, we are willing to train the right person.
