Description

Education Requirements:
Minimum fourth year in a degree program or completed a degree program in one of the following disciplines: accounting, business administration, marketing, finance, agbusiness, agricultural economics, economics or business economics.

Duties and responsibilities:
The Research Associate is responsible for applied research and data analysis related to specific economic and business development projects. As an integral part of our work team, the Research Associate will:
-Engage in applied research and communicate those findings in the form of written reports.
-Organize data and conduct some financial data analysis.
-Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate study findings to the client.
-Assist in the development of business plans, marketing plans, strategic plans, and feasibility studies.

Experience & Skill Responsibilities:
0 - 2 years research or business analysis experience.
Effective and concise written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or assignments simultaneously with a high level of organization.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel on occasion.
Experience in the development of business plans/market research reports.
Knowledge of Aboriginal economic development in Saskatchewan considered an asset.
