If you are looking to roll up your sleeves with a hands-on, fast-paced position with an opportunity to service a variety of heavy duty construction and utility equipment, The K-Line Group of Companies has an opportunity in our Fleet Services Division in White City, Saskatchewan. If you are highly motivated, a self starter and mechanically inclined, consider joining our team.
Responsibilities
Service and maintain heavy trucks, equipment and trailers including back hoes, dozers, trenchers, excavators, directional drills, aerial devices and cranes
Requires extensive travel throughout Southern Saskatchewan with some overnight stay required
When travel is not required, employee is responsible for performing duties in the White City Shop/Garage
Maintain service documentation records and complete reports of work performed
Review work orders and establish priorities with Foreman
Trouble shoot and maintain hydraulic and electric systems
Observe strict compliance to all policies, procedures and safety regulations
Possibility of weekend work as required
Experience and Education
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Mechanical certification or apprentice an asset
Welding experience an asset
Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, self-motivated, willing to work long hours when required, and comfortable with extended driving hours as required
Valid Drivers Licence Driver Abstract will be requested
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
