-To repair, maintain and inspect freight car
equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
-Perform all preventative maintenance work and
repairs to trucks, under frame, structure, safety
appliances, braking systems and draft systems.
-Conduct any cutting, burning, grinding, and
welding associated with removal or application
of components.
-Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors
in adverse weather conditions.
-Willing to train suitable candidates with basic
welding/cutting experience.
-Health and dental benefits on completion of 90
day probationary period.
