Description

We need an Application Developer - Mainframe-Natural for our client. You will:
-Provide day-to-day production support of our clients mainframe applications.
-Provide troubleshooting.
-Provide after-hours support (on-call) approx 1 week, per four week rotation.
-Design and conduct testing.
-Provide conversion tasks from old system to new system.

Must Haves:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in mainframe application development.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience administering a mainframe environment.
-Able to participate in an on-call rotation (On-call for approximately 1 week in a 4 week rotation).
-Experience with mainframe environment configuration, security configuration and administration including service pack installation and package build/deployment.
-Significant working experience with and knowledge of the following tools/technologies:
-   Adabas
-   Natural
-   EasyTrieve and Vision Builder
-   Z-O/S-JCL/Utilities
-   TSO
-Experience developing and implementing testing strategies
-Experience working with Database technologies
-Knowledge of PeopleSoft as it interfaces with payments systems.
-Experience with formal project management methodologies such as processes, standards, documentation and providing work breakdowns/tasks and accurate estimates
-North American work experience
