In collaboration with the Community Outreach Program, this position will address service, programming and unique needs of the communities it serves. The Community Liaison Worker will travel to outlying communities to work with community agencies in identifying community needs in service, issues arising, and advocate with local agencies on programming needs.
This is a term position, starting September 29, 2014 and ending March 31, 2015 and funded through Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
-Ability to travel in small aircrafts
-Valid Driver's License
-At least a Grade 12 and some post secondary education; the ability to do reports is a must.
-Good communication and written skills
-Clear criminal record and child abuse checks
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for travel times(70 hours per pay period)
