The director is responsible for the management and administration of the daycare, as well as ensuring quality care for all the centers children, supporting the philosophy of the centers and abiding by the child care regulation. Candidates must have a sound theoretical and practical understanding of normal childhood development, strong organizational skills, as well, conflict resolution skills are vital.
Regulations stipulate a minimum requirement of a two year diploma in Early Childhood education or the equivalent- ECE III, as well as a current first aid and CPR C certificate. other requirements include a criminal record check, Child abuse registry check, Safe food handling Level I, TB test, and play and exploration certificate.
Applicants should also have good computer skills with knowledge of word and excel as well as simply accounting
