The City of North Battleford is accepting applications for the above named position which is under the general direction of the Office Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To assume all duties related to accounts payable.
Processing purchase orders and related computer work with attention to detail.
Prepare and balance payable listings and other reports generated by accounts payable.
Filing as related to accounts payable
Keeping accurate summaries for budget, year-end, public accounts, WCB, etc.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 supplemented by a commercial or business college diploma or knowledge/experience as deemed acceptable by the City.
Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word & Excel is required.
Exceptional organizational skills/ability to work unsupervised absolutely essential.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Able to maintain effective, co-operative relations with staff and the general public.
Accounts payable experience a definite asset.
