Friends Together Childcare Cooperative is a local center that has been open in Saskatoon for 33years. We are community based, with a very diverse staff and family enrollment.
Our center is currently seeking an Enhanced Accessibility staff to assist with a child having limited mobility due to use of a wheelchair.
Duties will include but are not limited to, supervision of children aged four to nine years of age, assisting senior staff members to complete tasks, assisting EA child with mobility, walking to and from school, professional communication with staff and parents, following direction from senior staff and management, planning and executing developmentally appropriate activities for the children; including the EA child with direction from the Personal Progress Plan.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of ECE I, First Aid CPR Certification, Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Persons Check and a recent Tuberculosis Test.
Hourly wage for this position will be depending on the education of the applicant and will start at $12.75/hour. This position is for a full 8 hour day/40 hour week for the duration of the Enhanced Accessibility Grant. There is possibility of being offered a full time permanent position at the end of the contract.
