Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with clients in need of housing that are referred through partners in the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region, as well as several community-based organizations that serve those living with HIV/AIDS;
Establish and maintain relationships with landlords, subsidized housing providers, and community partners;
Accompany clients to housing-related appointments, and, when necessary, advocate on their behalf;
Help clients obtain financial statements, references and other required documents for housing applications;
Assist clients in filling out applications;
Present housing workshops to the public and community groups;
Help clients navigate the Office of Residential Tenancies;
Create and distribute updated lists of available rental housing; and,
Keep accurate client statistics
