In your role, you will:
Participate and at times lead project activities comprised of gathering with user requirements, analyzing requirements, recommendation of system selection, participation of system implementation and post implementation activities.
Post implementation, you will continue support and maintenance to software and programs as required.
As our ideal candidate,
You have completed a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Commerce/Administration combined with two-three years of related work experience; or completed a related business or Technical Diploma combined with three-five years of related work experience; or you possess a related designation such as PMP or CBAP and a minimum of two years of directly related work experience; A combination of education and experience may be considered.Analysis Professional (CBAP), which while not required would be considered an asset.
You have an understanding of relational databases (such as Oracle, Access);
You have functional ability in Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, SQL or other related tools;
You possess good organizational skills;
You have the ability to think critically;
You are able to demonstrate strong documentation skills through experience;
You have experience researching, writing and presenting business cases;
You are a strong team player;
If you have project management experience, it would be considered a strong asset;
If you have programming experience it would be considered an asset;
If you have a related designation such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business, it would be considered an asset.
