We are looking for Heavy Duty Mechanics to be part of a growing company that is a world leader in producing concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients. Positions both above and below ground are available in 5 different departments.
This highly respected company has a world-class mining and processing operation that produces the highest quality of fertilizer and animal feed ingredients. They are also global leader in nourishing crops and deliver distinctive value to the world agriculture. They are expanding and looking for Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team.
Skills and Abilities:
o Full knowledge of the utilization and care of basic hand tools.
o Knowledge of complete engine re-builds.
o Theory and practical on brakes and steering systems.
o The ability to cut and weld.
o Full knowledge of basic electricity, starting circuits, ignition circuits, generator circuits, and alternator circuits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Safely operate specific units of mobile equipment including overhead and mobile crane.
o Test drive equipment serviced completing exam and task sheet.
o Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions, and to make written reports as required.
o Diligently adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.
o Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification
- Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement
