APPLICANT MUST HAVE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION LEVEL 1 OR HIGHER TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.
Position available is for a one-on-one ECE worker for a child requiring extra support (behavior). This position is funded through an Enhanced Accessibility Grant and will be for approximately 20+ hours/week. The majority of shifts will be from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, with full days when there are school closures. Position will start November 3rd 2014 and will be for a 6 month term (revisited at that time). Applicant MUST have ECE level 1 or higher, CPR/First Aid, Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and TB Test. Applicant will be responsible for all aspects of daily care and interactions with a bright and spirited 5 year old boy. Applicant must have a passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives. Must work well alone and AS PART OF A TEAM. Applicant will have good oral and written English.
