Description

This Program Assistant (PA) provides administrative and programming supports to Paper Crane Community Arts Centre. The Program Assistant oversees frontline communications, which includes handling all incoming calls, mail, general email, and visitors. The PA deals with general facility management, such as bookings, clean-up, and scheduling maintenance and repairs. The PA is responsible for inputting, modifying and retrieving data from various sources, including electronic records. The PA acts as a bridge between the client and the instructor, ensuring that clients are comfortable and engaged while waiting for their session.  Other responsibilities include maintaining and creating forms, receiving youth and families and may support contract instructors, ordering supplies, and ensuring program area maintenance is completed.

We are looking for:
- An organized multi-tasker with above average computer software and scheduling skills
- A strong communicator who builds relationships
- A confident problem solver
- Someone who enjoys people, in particular children and youth
- A creative, outgoing individual able to deal with all aspects of the Paper Crane Community Arts Centre
- Someone who is available for 20 hours per week
