Bourgault Industries is a leading global manufacturer of technologically advanced seeding and tillage equipment. We are currently seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan.

The purpose of this position is to assist with design, planning and management of projects involving:
- Installation or implementation of manufacturing equipment and facilities
- Implementation of process improvements that increase production efficiencies

Job responsibilities include:
- Develop and document standard work, including work methods, cell layouts and value stream layouts.
- Conduct process analysis involving observation of and interaction with the production team on the shop floor.
- Conduct time studies to develop base times or evaluate different processes.
- Design equipment, tooling, or processes
- Implement lean manufacturing principles on the shop floor & in the office.
- Implement changes to products due to manufacturing improvements.
- Review engineering drawings prior to release to production.
- Develop TPM schedules on key pieces of production equipment.

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application
- 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred)
- Design experience is an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- High degree of analytical thought and creativity
