PLANTS MANAGER

The City is presently seeking a key player to participate in our Management strategy to provide the best service delivery to the approx 14,000 citizens of North Battleford. The City's organizational structure includes this position as a key role in the Water and Wastewater treatment, collection & distribution systems. The successful candidate will be dedicated to working with internal and external stakeholders in striving towards providing the best public service delivery approach possible. We are looking for a career-minded individual who displays strong communication, leadership, problem solving, planning and teamwork skills.
Candidates must have considerable knowledge & experience to order to oversee the general work routine at two water plants, waste management facility, and 5 lift stations, in accordance with Provincial regulations and licence requirements.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess Level IV Operator Certification (Level III with the potential to attain Level IV) along with supervisory experience and a minimum of 5-10 years of work experience preferably in Municipal Government or a combination of experience & qualifications deemed acceptable by the City.
