Job Summary:   The Integrated Therapies/Stroke Services Manager reports directly to the Director of Integrated Primary Health Services. The Integrated Therapies/Stroke Services Manager is accountable for the coordination of regional stroke services including rehabilitation and Stroke Prevention Clinic, acute care therapy services at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, Rehabilitation therapy at the Program Beds in Jowsey House.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience with a combination of clinical management preferable in relation to stroke, acute rehabilitation and administration experience.   Previous clinical or management experience in a health care setting.
Required Qualifications
Must be registered with the appropriate licensing body
Preferred Masters or Baccalaureate in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
An understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and values of the region
Computer skills essential for development of databases, word processing and budgeting
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning through self-development continuing education programs and informal learning opportunities
Demonstrated conflict resolution, change management and financial management
Demonstrated self-directed approach to work, resourceful, energetic and creative
Demonstrates an ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal/consultative relationships and communication patterns with other health professionals, paraprofessionals and community partners
Excellent leadership, mentoring, organizational, and communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong background in program planning and development as well as current knowledge of Best Practices in stroke prevention/management and acute care therapies
