The Opportunity
Our Macklin, SK location is currently searching for a EO/Laborer III to join the team. This position is responsible to perform basic labor tasks using hand tools, and also assist in the operation of one or more of the following equipment types: Flushby, Rod Truck, and Accelerator Units.
Key responsibilities:
Make emergency roadside adjustments and repairs
Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for loading and unloading produced fluids
Proper completion of all required paperwork including checklists, forms and invoice requirements
Follow both Clean Harbors and the Client safety requirements
General housekeeping and keeping units clean and free from oil, top up fluids, etc
Proper usage and maintenance of Clean Harbors equipment
Proper reporting of malfunctioning equipment and unsafe working conditions
Keep all tools and fittings in good working condition
Ensure you are provided with the correct supplies or equipment to meet the demands of the work being performed
Maintain and use of appropriate personal protective equipment
Key qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience on one of the following units: Flushby, Rod Truck, or Accelerator Unit required
Mechanic ability required for making minor repairs
Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, their proper handling, storage and preparation for the work site
Safety Tickets (H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, Confined Space Entry) preferred
Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean 5 year drivers abstract.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
- Driver's licence
- Confined Space Entry
