Under the general direction of the Network Administrator, the Technical Support Analyst will provide technical support on computer hardware, software, peripherals, and video conference equipment to management, faculty, staff and students, as well as, related administrative technical support duties. This position is under the CUPE Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Duties and Qualifications:
Provide confidential administrative technical support by assisting in maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Provide help desk support and assist with troubleshooting for computers, printers, and videoconference equipment.
Maintain computer science lab.
Order supplies and complete purchase orders.
Provide computer access and create email accounts.
Perform related job duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have:
Complete Grade 12 with at least one year in a related program.
Working knowledge of networking management, maintenance, and troubleshooting with both hardware and software.
Ability to solve problems, priority tasks and duties, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak a First Nations language would be an asset.
