Description

Auctus Property Fund LP (the Fund) and Auctus Real Estate Trust (the Trust) own and operate diversified portfolios of high quality income-producing multi-unit residential real estate properties in Canada.  The Fund has grown from a start-up venture in June 2012 to an organization with over 700 apartment units across 16 properties with an estimated market value of over $100 million.  The Trust was established in 2014 and is currently in the process of completing three new properties.
We have an experienced, performance driven asset management team that is committed to maximizing the value of the properties and generating exceptional returns to investors. The team has extensive real estate development experience, including unique expertise in the use of innovative modular construction.
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play an important role in the daily, monthly and annual accounting requirements for our group of companies.  Key responsibilities include the following:
Preparation of year-end files and corporate tax returns
Preparation of monthly and annual tax filings
Preparation of monthly financial reporting and budget analysis
Preparation and reconciliation of monthly intercompany billings
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Professional accounting designation or working towards one
Experience in tax (corporate, GST, PST, personal)
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
