Description

Description: Working under the direction and supervision of the Director of Programming, the Links to Housing Coordinator, in keeping with the policies, practices, and philosophies of Rainbow Youth Centre, will provide services relevant to housing and homelessness.
Responsibilities;
Overall Project Coordination and supervision of staff
Program planning, development, and facilitation
Case management
Networking and advocacy
Administrative tasks
Qualifications
A combination of relevant education and experience related to the position- (Minimum of 4 years)
Experience in staff supervision (minimum 1 year)
Education and/or experience in program development, and delivery (2yrs experience)
Experience with writing reports
Experience with individual counseling
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated crisis management and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational, administrative skills and computer skills
Strong understanding of group learning and facilitation
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective problem-solving skills, including the ability to respond to new situations with flexibility and creativity
Awareness of prevention strategies related to youth at risk
Ability to manage time and various work responsibilities
Ability to network with other community agencies
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to work as an integral part of a team
Ability to work independently
Comfortable with public speaking
Knowledge about youth at risk
Knowledge of community resources
Knowledge of Regina's housing issues relevant to youth
Able to work flexible hours (including evenings)
Able to lift up to 15 kg
Valid driver's license

Hours of Work: 74 hours every two weeks, every second Friday off. Evening hours required weekly.
