Position Description:
We currently have an opportunity based out of our Lloydminster office for an experienced Crew Chief. In this field position, you will be leading a crew performing oilfield surveying. Ideal candidates will be:

-        Capable of organizing a field survey effectively in remote locations;
-        Aware of survey ethics and responsibilities;
-        Familiar with staking right-of-ways and layouts unsupervised;
-        Able to complete survey calculations, closures, etc.;
-        Knowledgeable of survey methodology and sources of survey errors;
-        Comfortable supervising and enforcing safety regulations and policies;
-        An excellent communicator with clients, Project Managers and staff.

Qualifications:
Candidates with formal post-secondary training in a Geomatics/Survey program are preferred. However, years of experience will be considered. Field experience is necessary. The successful candidate will be well versed in the technical operation of Total Station and GPS technology. You should be familiar with all facets of oilfield surveying including, but not limited to, well site surveys, pipeline surveys and line locating.
Some traveling will be required as well as a valid drivers license. Safety training (i.e. CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.) is also required and will be provided as necessary.

You must be physically able to perform the requirements of the job and be willing to work in all types of weather conditions.
