SALES MANAGER

Our Sales Manager is responsible for developing a long term strategy for marketing Dumur Industries competitive advantage, maintaining current and acquiring new business.  Focus is predominantly on expanding our business volume, ensuring opportunities are identified and that the Companys capabilities are actively promoted.   Responsibility also includes driving retention and treating existing as well as new customers in a manner that will build sustaining, long-term relationships.

Objective:

o Stimulate new business; develop and execute strategies to enable growth, retention and profitability
o Investigate and assess opportunities, potential new and existing products
o Develop and maintain new and existing customers, manage satisfaction through proactive customer service
o Regularly report on progress to the management team.


Success Requires:

o Five plus years outside sales experience is a requirement;

   o Three to Five years experience in the manufacturing or related industry is a REQUIREMENT.

O Applicants with no manufacturing experience will not be eligible for consideration

o Completion of a Technical Trade; Business or Bachelors Diploma or Degree.

   o Knowledge and experience with metal fabrication / machining a significant asset

   o Combinations of experience and relevant courses will also be considered.

o Solid communication and interpersonal skills; A problem solver that is resourceful innovative and creative.

o Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success.

o Moderate to frequent overnight travel may be required.
