Description

The Facility Manager is accountable for the overall provision of a high standard of rural health care services to the communities served by the facility or facilities through coordinating, maintaining, and enhancing all departments of the facility, and by effective liason within the Prairie North Health Regional Health Authority.

Experience: 3-5 years "hands-on" experience, preferably in a nursing management position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachleor degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Commerce or related field.
Registeed or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Valid Class 5 Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills & Abilites:
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with the board, leadership, staff, unions, partner organizations, media, suppliers, and general public
Communication skills  
Excellent management, leadership, organizational, and decision making skills
Knowledge of computers and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, database applications, internet and email
