In a 1 Week Rotation: 5 Shifts of 7.50 hours
Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety, this out-of-scope position is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of an effective regional safety management program to ensure compliance with Provincial OH&S legislation and the regional goal of zero workplace injuries.
Required Qualifications:
Degree/Certification in Occupational Health & Safety. An equivalent combination of education and experience in OH&S will be considered.
Preference given to an undergraduate degree or diploma in a healthcare or education-related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to integrate a variety of teaching and learning approaches to facilitate adult education sessions
Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
