The Village of Bjorkdale invites applications for the position of Urban Municipal Administrator.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary as well as group insurance and pension plan benefits. Applicants should have a minimum Urban Standard Certificate of qualification in Local Government Administration or be willing to take the LGA program; must have experience in municipal government, as well as knowledge of the Munisoft system.
The Village Administrator will be responsible to the council for all operations of the village in accordance with the policies established by Council and The Municipalities Act. As an ideal applicant you should also possess excellent communication, public relations, and time management skill as well as computer knowledge. Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships within the community, both internally and externally are key indicators of future success in this role.
