Description

Primary Responsibilities:
Enthusiastically promote the FNUniv to prospective high school students
Conduct tours of the campuses for high school students and other groups or dignitaries
Travel to schools to deliver recruitment and motivational presentations, as required
Attend local conferences and career fairs with career fair booths
Answer inquiries about FNUniv
Ensure confidentiality with respect to all information obtained in the performance of duties
Participate in First Year Orientation programs and other FNUniv events as required
Distribution of FNUniv promotional material
General duties as related to Student Success Services recruitment and promotion
Other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Must be a full-time First Nations University of Canada continuing student with a minimum 65% GPA?
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
Non-Technical Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service
Good organizational abilities
Ability to work in a computerized environment
Must be able to travel
Ability to speak a First Nations language as asset
Understanding and appreciation of First Nations values, norms, and traditions
