Sunrise Health Region has an opening for a
Permanent Full Time Physical Therapist - Degree
with Cornerstone Therapies in Yorkton Saskatchewan

Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist-Degree reports directly to the Integrated Therapies and Stroke Services Manager.  He/she is accountable for the provision of physical therapy services to the clients in Neuro-Outpatients, Yorkton Regional Health Centre and Community/Long Term Care and will provide coverage in other service areas in staff absences.  The Physical Therapist-Degree is responsible for a clinical caseload and provides direct care to clients.  The Physical Therapist Degree is accountable for planning, organizing, directing and supervising the activities of their designated service area within physical therapy section to ensure that patients/clients referred received a high standard of physical therapy.  This will be done in accordance with Sunrise Health Regions Mission Statement and the Therapy Department Statement of Purpose, as well as the policies and procedures of the facility and department.  

Qualifications:
    Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
    Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
    Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists

Hours of Work:
    Presently rotating 8 hour shifts
    Days

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms & conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Salary and benefits in accordance with the SAHO/Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan Collective Agreement governing the position and corresponding to education and previous experience.
