Description

Canadas most dynamic and diverse hotel management company, Atlific Hotels, is seeking an Area Sales Manager selling to the SMERF market for our hotels in Saskatchewan- Radisson Plaza Hotel Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Inn, Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa and Wingate by Wyndham Regina.  This is a home based position located in either Regina or Saskatoon.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  Solicit, negotiate & secure new accounts as well as maintain current client relationships within market segment;
  Recommend strategies to develop new business opportunities;
  Support & contribute to the goals of the team;
  Develop strategies with Area Sales Team /GM and Area Director of Sales to grow market share;
  Develop & implement effective sales action plan for the SMERF segment;
  Assist with various assignments and/or projects as assigned by management;
  Achieve & exceed revenue quotas;
  Achieve weekly activity goals: sites, prospecting calls, entertainment, & sales calls;
  Participate in activities inside & outside of the hotel to network, build relationships and secure new business.
  Preparation of weekly sales reports, implementation of action plans and participation in weekly & quarterly meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  Minimum 2 years as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry preferably selling multi-location properties;
  Post secondary education in sales or equivalent;
  Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Delphi, internet, etc.);
  Highly energetic, aggressive self-starter, excellent negotiation, prospecting, presentation, verbal & written communication skills;
  Has established industry contacts and knowledge of marketplace;
  Perform at a high level with minimal supervision and committed to meeting timelines/deadlines;
  Must have valid drivers license & vehicle, willing to work flexible hours and be available for out of town travel.
