EPCOR Water Canada is looking to fill one full-time permanent Electrician / Instrumentation Journeyman position with our team in Regina, SK.
This position is responsible for completing scheduled, corrective and new construction/improvement maintenance on instrument and electrical equipment at the Regina Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Reporting to the Maintenance Lead, the Electrician / Instrumentation Journeyman is accountable for:
Maintaining & troubleshooting Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and associated network communication systems.
Calibrating and installing water quality/chemical analyzers and temperature/pressure transmitters.
Constructing, maintaining and repairing panel wiring, high/low voltage motor starters and lighting systems as well as operating and maintaining high voltage electrical equipment.
Developing and implementing safe work plans, hazard assessments, work standards/procedures and tailgate talks to ensure worker safety within EPCORs Regina Wastewater Treatment Facilities.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Journeyman Electrician and Instrumentation certificates with interprovincial designation.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible E/I experience.
Proven ability to interpret and develop drawings and schematics.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License (with 6 demerits or less).
Additional Details:
Jurisdiction: CUPE 21
Shift Schedule: 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/week. Some overtime and weekend work may be required.
