This position works closely with the Director, Library Human Resources in the planning, design and delivery of learning and development initiatives for library employees, with a focus on developing shared leadership. Reporting to the Director, Library Human Resources, the incumbent will interact with library employees at all levels. The work is unstructured and requires the ability to negotiate boundaries and manage complex issues to achieve positive outcomes. The work requires a proactive approach, and effective professional relationships that support collaboration and problem solving are essential for success in this position. Receiving broad guidance from the supervisor, the incumbent is required to use judgment to set their own priorities to meet deadlines.
