Salary or Pay Band: $43.422 to $50.217 (5 step range)

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Pharmacist - Degree Senior, the Regional Pharmacist is committed to the integration of knowledge and skill in the provision
of quality client-focused pharmacy services within the Heartland Health Region. The incumbent is responsible for all medication-related needs of all
clients (including Home Care and Community Based Services) throughout HHR, the provision of drug information to physicians and other health care
professionals, and assistance in the implementation and evaluation of the HHR Pharmacy Performance Plan. This incumbent is able to perform in a
capacity consistent with CSHP or CPhA standards.
Two Regional Pharmacist will support the day to day needs of HHR pharmacies in 7 acute care sites, 8 emergency departments and 9 health
centers. As well will be accountable for the supervision, orientation, and other duties related to overseeing Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Clerks
and any other staff added to the team. This position may also serve as a preceptor to other pharmacists, pharmacy residents and students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Certificate from an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency program or equivalent experience an asset
Certified in Chemotherapy Administration for the Community Oncology Program (COPS) through the Saskatchewan Cancer Center
Membership in a National Professional Association (eg., CSHP, CPhA, and CCCP) is an asset
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
