Norheim Ranching is a progressive, family owned farming operation that specializes in Beef Cattle Production, Crop Production, and Ag Retail Ventures. Norheim Ranching has been in business for over 40 years, and is located just 10 miles South of Saskatoon.
Norheim Ranching is seeking a Full Time Farm Production Supervisor / Farm operator. This individual will be required to oversee day to day operations of our Cattle and Crop Production. Norheim Ranching is expanding daily and positions will be created for excellent candidates. There is ample opportunity for promotion and increased responsibility for qualified individuals.
This position will be given weekly/daily responsibilities and expected to complete all duties by priority and using their discretion.
Duties include:
Operate, maintain, and service various types of farming equipment (i.e.: sprayer, seeding equipment, hay equipment, GPS, etc)
Maintain accurate service and production records
Basic care, feeding, and handling of cattle
Basic repair and maintenance tasks
Delivery of ag retail products to customers
All tasks as assigned by farm manager
Required for this position:
A valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Own transportation
Grade 12 Education
1A license or ability to obtain 1A license
Previous Experience Operating large equipment
Motivation, Determination, and willingness to work in a team environment
Compensation:
This candidate can be paid an hourly wage or Salary depending on individuals preference
Starting wage will be determined based on qualifications. We pay top wages for top people.
Scheduled time off. 3 weeks paid vacation. Option of flexible hours.
Ample housing is available for sale or rent in nearby communities of Hanley, Dundurn, Clavet, or Saskatoon
