Busy ophthalmology practice seeks an Ophthalmic Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: pre-exam work-up including competent recording of medical history and operation of specialized optometric testing equipment, checking in patients, scheduling appointments, responding to telephone inquiries, completing physicians daily tasks and handling incoming and outgoing faxes.
Position requires a mature, professional and motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Applicant must be capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment. Computer knowledge is a must. Applicant must be bondable.
