Description

The Manager, Business Administration leads and manages the staff and operations of the Business Administration department in overall delivery of administrative business support services throughout the organization.

This position also provides delivery of confidential, professional and refined senior executive-level assistance acting as coverage for the CEO and EVPs backup support and delivers effective and efficient management of the Executive Office.  

This role is responsible to oversee, lead and manage the provision of administrative business support services across the organization through the recruitment, motivation and development of Business Administration (BA) team members through the performance management process.  You will also develop the team strategy, manage workflow and work segmentation, capacity and resource allocation as well as manage the department budget.

The Manager, Business Administration will manage department activities, processes, and initiatives for sustaining the organization in its day-to-day administrative activities by providing support and expertise regarding administrative matters, understanding the corporate strategic intents and working collaboratively with executive and senior management to support achievement of business goals by routinely adapting the BA service offering to align with changing business priorities.  Fostering mutually-beneficial working relationship with business leaders will facilitate ongoing client satisfaction and quality assurance.

This role will also lead effective management of the executive support office, including department records, documentation and file management, and department budget development. You will also be responsible for planning and coordination of corporate initiatives and staff engagement activities directed out of the Executive Office, as well as managing the Corporate Travel Program and other executive Vendor relationships as required.
