Reporting directly to the Security Sales Manager, the Alarms System Installer is a tremendous resource and an important element to both the technical aspects and the customer service aspects of the business. The Alarms System installer is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of security systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and communications skills, with a natural ability to explain technical information to uniformed consumers. They will be detail oriented with strong problem solving ability and must be able to work independently. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities and must possess knowledge of the security industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Delivering great customer service and creating amazing customer experiences
Must be courteous and professional at all times and be neat in appearance
Fulfill scheduled customer appointments in a timely fashion
Install, troubleshoot, and repair of a variety of security systems for residential and commercial clients
Running and fishing wires
Keep informed of new products and developments
Identify and resolve client concerns
Take phone calls from clients and customers
Training/job shadowing new employees
Qualifications:
Experience with wired and wireless security system installation
Valid drivers license
Must own and operate a reliable vehicle
Must possess their own basic set of tools
Must be flexible and willing to travel to customer locations
Grade 12 or equivalent
