Primary Function:

We are looking for a Plant Supervisor, Customer Services to supervise a plant facility and ensure the production of engineered products is performed in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct all employees for the plant operation.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group to ensure a smooth workflow.
Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
Scheduling and resolve internal/external inquiries
Ensure safety standards and Quality Management systems are followed at all times.
Develop and maintain continuous improvement training programs and drive HSE Program.
Supervise the completion of projects in respect with customer requirements.
Manage all operating costs of facility and ensure project costs are keeping within budget.
Improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of products
Quoting repairs and new replacement equipment.
Substitute for and/or assist department staff.
On-call/afterhours when required.

Qualifications:

College Degree in electro-mechanical or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a Quality/Safety production environment
Experience with mechanical service and AC/DC motors, strong asset
Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards and Provincial Safety regulations
Ability to supervise a group a technicians
Good Leadership and initiative
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Good verbal & written communication skills in English
Computer savvy with MS-Office
