Description

Located at  1401 2 Ave W, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5B3, Prince Albert, SK, Zorba's Family Restaurant  is currently seeking three (3) Line Cooks (NOC 6242). Position will be at the 2nd Avenue location only and be full time permanent position  (35-40hrs week) with a starting wage of $12.50 hr. Ability to interact effectively with the public and work in a strong team environment would be an asset.
Main duties

Line Cooks perform some or all of the following duties:

    Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
    Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
    Oversee kitchen operations
    Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
    May set up and oversee buffets
    May clean kitchen and work area
    May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
    May hire and train kitchen staff.


Employment requirements

    Completion of secondary school is usually required.
    Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks
or
Completion of college or other program in cooking
or
Several years of commercial cooking experience are required.
