Description

Purpose:
The Kettle Supervisor ensures the smooth running of the Kettle Campaign, maximizing donations and coordinating staffing (employees and volunteers).

Responsibilities:
- recruit, train, direct and work alongside
volunteers and paid staff
- schedule volunteers and workers on the Christmas
Kettle program, ensuring all kettle locations are
covered
- keep accurate records of all volunteers and
staff
- ensure kettle locations are kept well-stocked
with supplies
- coordinate the schedule for kettle staff and
respond to emergency absences, etc.
- deliver and arrange pickup of kettles from sites
daily, ensuring the security of donations
- represent The Salvation Army in a positive,
professional, manner
- retrieve all equipment/supplies from various
kettle locations
- oversee daily counting
- perform other position related duties as
required

Qualifications:
- BE DEPENDABLE
- high school completion
- experience in office administration
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and work well in a fast-
paced office setting
- experience with general office equipment and a
proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- valid Sask. Drivers license with own vehicle
- understanding and support of the Mission of The
Salvation Army
- a criminal police check will be required

Salary/Grade: up to 40 hours per week at $15.00 per hour  Temporary Seasonal Position May Include Evenings

Start date: Nov. 6, 2014 - End Date: Dec. 24, 2014

Full-Time: Nov. 6 to Dec. 24 up to 40 hours per
week
