Description

Microtel Inn & Suites Estevan is seeking talented, career minded, dedicated night auditors with a passion for excellence and authentic service to join its amazing Guest Services team.

Performs the duties of the Guest Services Agent, including reservations and guest services.  Prepares, checks and corrects room rate variances by conducting a complete bucket check. Posts any late charges not posted on previous shift.  Assists with check-ins and check-outs when necessary.  Ensures wake-up calls are set for the morning checking the control sheet to ensure accuracy.  Verifies and balances daily charges for all departments to customer folios, master accounts and house accounts: makes corrections as necessary.  Balances the rooms audit with the night clerk's summary. Reviews all credit card vouchers for proper imprints, authorizations, and correct amounts.  Runs computer through nightly process.  Distributes reports to applicable departments.  Other duties as assigned by either Front Office Manager or General Manager. Adheres to hotel policies and procedures.  Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.  Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Qualifications
Must be available to work rotating shift schedule
and weekends.
Must be able to provide genuine authentic service
to all guests
Must be able to work with limited direct supervision
Must have working knowledge of MS Office
Must be self-motivated
Must be physically able to complete all duties as
required
Must have good command and understanding of the
English language
Working knowledge of Opera an asset
