The College of Dentistry invites applications from qualified individuals for a full time non clinical faculty position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (Three-year Limited Term) in the area of Dental Materials.
The successful candidate must possess a PhD and have experience in research, teaching, service and academic management, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A DMD/DDS or an MSc degree in a dental -related discipline would be a significant asset. A record of previous/current grant funding and/or a strong potential for obtaining external grant funding is required. Collaboration in research opportunities and active participation in the administrative/collegiate processes of the college is required. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in the delivery of didactic and pre-clinical teaching; supervise student research projects (such as table clinics); initiate, lead and participate in research activities; and compete successfully for external funding to support his/her research program/s. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in an academic teaching position, and involvement in related scholarly activity.
Salary bands for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor - $88,800 - $106,710; Associate Professor - $106,710 - $124,620 and Professor $124,620 - $145,142.
