Location: Saskatoon and Jansen mine, SK

An outstanding opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to become part of the LADAA and BHP Billiton team based in Saskatoon and on site at the BHP Billiton Jansen Project, SK, Canada.  Reporting to the Superintendent Health & Hygiene for the BHP Billiton Health Centre, this is an exciting opportunity to monitor, control and undertake the execution of activities that the Health Centre

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety and environmental responsibility.
    Support implementation of HSEC systems, particularly execution of health standards and programs, such as fatigue and fit for role.
    Conduct proactive physical capabilities assessments.
    Conduct Ergonomic assessments, monitor and review programs.
    Conduct regular audits against agreed upon work practices and controls, measure and document the effectiveness of the controls being implemented.
    Work collaboratively with health centre team, wider Jansen Project Site HSEC teams, including external health contractors to ensure a high quality of service is provided.

Key requirements:
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a health related discipline  occupational therapy, kinesiology, physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Health Science, Ergonomics etc. and a minimum of 10 years' experience. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of medical terminology and treatment and strong computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office, Medical databases, Excel, Visio and Project.
